Contribute to open-source projects using GitHub

In This story, I want to explain how we can contribute to open-source projects using GitHub.

The main steps:

  1. Fork the repository (git clone…)
  2. Clone the forked repository
  3. Make changes and edition
  4. Commit changes
  5. Push changes
  6. Update your forked repository
  7. Make a new pull request
  8. Wait for your request to be merged by the owner of the project
